Tuesday-Antwerp

The Rockox house near my b & b. Rockox was the mayor of Antwerp during Ruben's time and they were friends. His house is now a museum - and he has a great name.
It's finally arrived here as well.
The museum of art - did a drawing from this spot.
Another view of Saint Jacobskerk with some shops built into the side of it.
A view of the cathedral from the Grote market or central square. I did a drawing here for a coupe of hours and got lots of comments on it. One guy said, "It's an 8, not a 10 but at least an 8."
Page from the menu at Oude Arsenaal, a famous local beer spot. I thought it was funny and typical of Rugby players all over the world.
Antwerp's Central Station
Another view of the trains.
Inside the Kulminator - the #1 ranked beer bar in the world. It's like a living museum. They had a Liefman's Kriek from 1974 for 80 euros a bottle, and every Chimay Blue since 1982.
Hans and Jan from Finland. They were sitting next to me and I noticed they were rating beers. I asked about it and they said they were members of Ratebeer and were driving all over Europe stocking up because the beer in Finland is up to 4 times the price in other places. We shared a bottle of De Struise Aardmonnik from 2006 and talked for a few hours.
